1-180308 Free Tierazon Fractal Tutorial 2

Every tutorial starts with OPEN Tierazon, and tips that you need to learn and remember.  It’s so you don’t have to go looking for them each time you want to make fractals.  Here we go.

Your regular Mandelbrot will come up.   Read the tips below, and we will continue on.

If you wish to work on a larger image, right click on image and choose xy size, and enlarge from there.  Close out with ok.

REMEMBER TIPS:  If your image resizes back to the original small size, just right click, choose x-y size, and resize and ok.

If your image turns into a series of lines or horrible patterns, it may be because it’s too big.  (Sometimes it will be just a solid color; and may be fixed or not by doing this.) To fix, right click, choose xy size, and then ok; and it will redraw properly.   I’ve recently read that, drawing a box around it will do the same thing.

If you want to use FD options, you MUST use filters 3 first, above Dimension Variant.

If you want to use the color box, you must reduce your image size to 320 x 240 first.  You can change back (resize) when you’re done coloring.

You can draw or zoom in off your page and move around your fractal in this manner.  If you want to zoom out, right click your image, and choose fractal parameters and take a number or two off the front of magnify.

To reduce noise, try changing bailout from 4 to 1 (right click and choose fractal parameters) and m-set max from 128 to a lower number.  Reduce by 10’s until you get a feel for what you like.  If you do too much noise reduction, go back in and increase m-set max.

You have Tierazon open.

Close the Mandelbrot that opened, and open to your last folder (for 3-05’s lesson), and pick up picture 8.

Right click on image, choose fractal parameters.  Change stalks and bubbles from 0.08 to 0.30.  Notice how much the red on the right has spread out.  Interesting.  Picture 1-180308-1 or Picture 1.

Right click, fractal parameters again:  Bailout from 4 to 1.  No change, so let’s do it again. Change mset max from 128 to 120.  Picture 2.

We need to see more, so let’s zoom out.  Right click, choose fractal parameters again.  The magnif # of mine is 22667.7907763334.  I’m taking off the 22 at the front.  Picture 3.

Filters3, 33.  Picture 4.

Color1, 10. Picture 5.

I like the bright areas.  I’m zooming in on lower left hand corner.  Picture 6.

FD options 17.  Picture 7.

There are several places I could zoom in here.  I will and save a few pictures in my folder.  You do so now.  Remember to turn on your double box on the left toolbar to keep Picture 7.  We will return to it.  Also, when you turn on the double box, every creation will become a new Jungle.  Rename it, and minimize and go back to 7 until you’re done.  **

Picture 7c.

Picture 7d.

To 7d, FD options 20.  Picture 7d-1.  Purple, orange, green.  Very pretty.

Going back 7c.  Colors1, 11. Picture 7c-1.

Going back to 7b.  Colors2, 23.  Picture 7b-1.

Back to 7a.  Filters 3, 35.  Picture 7a-1.  See how different it is.

Okay.  Go back to 7.

Take the double box off.  Let’s reduce the noise.  Right click, fractal parameters, mset max from 120 to 80.  Picture 8.

I really like this area off to the right, so I’m going to zoom in there.

Zooming.  Picture 9.

Continue on as you wish.  For me, I have several great picture to do art with here, so I’m stopping now!

Are you learning the Tierazon program?  Isn’t it nifty!?

Have fun playing, and comment below.  Thanks!
