Every tutorial starts with OPEN Tierazon, and tips that you
need to learn and remember. It’s so you
don’t have to go looking for them each time you want to make fractals. Here we go.
Your regular Mandelbrot will come
up. Read the tips below, and we will
continue on.
If you wish to work on a larger
image, right click on image and choose xy size, and enlarge from there. Close out with ok.
REMEMBER TIPS: If your image resizes back to the original
small size, just right click, choose x-y size, and resize and ok.
If your image turns into a series
of lines or horrible patterns, it may be because it’s too big. (Sometimes it will be just a solid color; and
may be fixed or not by doing this.) To fix, right click, choose xy size, and
then ok; and it will redraw properly.
I’ve recently read that, drawing a box around it will do the same thing.
If you want to use FD options, you
MUST use filters 3 first, above Dimension Variant.
If you want to use the color box,
you must reduce your image size to 320 x 240 first. You can change back (resize) when you’re done
coloring.
You can draw or zoom in off your
page and move around your fractal in this manner. If you want to zoom out, right click your
image, and choose fractal parameters and take a number or two off the front of
magnify.
You have Tierazon open with the
regular Mandelbrot.
Draw 2-17, 5. Picture 1.
Right click on image, choose unique
formula editor. The default formula is
z*z+c.
Let’s change it to:
z*z+c/atan(1-z*z)/log(c*c*c) mset. Picture 2.
Color2, 28. Picture 3.
Filters2, 17. Picture 4.
Filters3, 49. Picture 5.
I’m putting on the dup block on the
left toolbar. I want to zoom in on
several spots to find something interesting.
Spot 1: picture 6. It will be jungle if your dup box is
one. Rename it.
I’m going to zoom in on the orange
area. Actually, in the blog (orange and
black area). Turning my dup box off.
Picture 6a.
Now back to 5. Dup box on again. Zooming in on the other
orange area toward the top and just right off the center above the purple. Picture 7.
FD options, 9 (I just used Filters
3, so I can use FD options now. Always
use filters3 before to use FD options).
Picture 7a.
Zooming in on red ball, green area
toward upper right. Picture 7b.
Close it
out.
Back to 5 one more time. Little zoom box at the top of the tip where
it is really busy. Picture 8.
Color2, 34. Picture 8a.
FD options, 13. Picture 8b.
Filters3, 38. Picture 8c.
Turn on the box (always remembering
you will have new Jungles to rename).
Zoom in several places till you find something you like.
Here’s what I came up with: Picture
8c-1. (just zooming in).
Picture 8c-2. (Added color invert).
Picture 8c-3: Added Color1, 1.
Picture 8c-4: (Filters3, 28 added. Right
click, fractal parameters, mset max from 128 to 20.
Done.
Hope you found some useful fractals
to use in your artwork today.
I’m stopping here.
Have a great day.
