1-171129-4-4-Part 4 for 12-14-17 Free Tierazon Fractal Tutorial

Go back to 12-4-17’s blog for the beginning of this series of 8 fractal tutorials.  We’ve done Part 1 and Part 2, Part 3 and today, we’re doing Part 4.

Open Tierazon.

Your regular Mandelbrot will come up.  Just click it out.  From the tool bar on your left side, hit the folder to open and find where you left 1-171129-4-4 fractal.  We will be working with this one today.  I will have a new folder for mine, so you might want to consider making a new one for each day’s fractals.

I will be abbreviating this to 4-4, and each new fractal off of this will be 4-4a, 4-4b, 4-4c, etc.

Here is 4-4.  The size I have this is 877 x 849.

Filters3, 27 (my favorite setting).  Picture 4-4a.

Getting rid of some of the noise.  Right click, choose fractal parameters, m-set max from 128 to 50.  Picture 4-4b.

I see a little spiral almost in the center.  Zooming in on that. Picture 4-4c.  Oh yes, I love it!

Zoom in top spiral, center vertical, very small box.   Picture 4-4d.  This is a really great set of fractals.

Zoom in on that inside spiral really tight.  Picture 4-4e.  Yeah!

Let’s do something new.  Let’s change the formula.  Right click and choose Unique Editor Dialogue.

z*z+c        is our formula.

Let’s put asin(z*z+c) in front of it.  Leave m-set.  Picture 4-4F.

Off to the left side, see the yellow bulb with the darker green?  I’m moving right to the two reds with light green to zoom in.  Bigger at first.  Picture 4-4g.

Zoom in almost center.  Picture 4-4h.

FD options, 13.  Picture 4-4hi.

Zoom in almost center.  Picture 4-4hij.  I like it.

Menu, color, rgb.  Picture 4-4KL.

FD options, 11.  Picture 4-4M.

Zooming in on that flame.  Picture 4-4N.

FD options 12, Picture 4-4o. (Because I love red!)

Ending the tutorial here.

Feel free to keep on playing and exploring.

On 12-18, Monday, we will work with 4-5, Part 5.  See you then.
