1-171129 Free Tierazon Fractal Tutorial-Part 1

Open Tierazon.

Right click on Jungle 1.

Choose XY Size, and 320 x 240.  This size takes up less space on your hard drive, renders faster, and can easily be re-sized for other uses.

Menu:  Draw 2-17; 02.  Picture 1-171129-1.  Make your folder.

Filters3, 37.  Picture 1-171129-2.

FD options 7.  Picture 1-171129-3.  (REMEMBER:  You must use Filters 3 BEFORE YOU CAN USE FD Options.  Stay above Dimension Variant.)

Right click on fractal, choose color controls (it works as long as the fractal is 320 x 240 or below.  You can enlarge fractal after using the color control box, if you wish.)

I made these changes in the box using the sliders.  The corresponding numbers are in the box above.  Experiment with the sliders, forward, reverse, invert, and cycle.  When you like what you see, hit apply and close the box.

I want to see the design a little closer, so I right click on my image and choose XY size, 640 x 480, and ok.

I really list #4, so I’m going to enlarge to 877 x 849 custom, ok.

On the left toolbar, I’m turning on the double boxes, 10th icon down.  This will make a dup (so the original #4 is not changed, and each new fractal will a Jungle fractal, which means you need to rename it.)  Always name your new fractal so you know which fractal it came from.  My first one would be 1-171129-4-1.  I would then minimize that down to the bottom of the screen, and go back to #4 to explore further – zoom in to see other areas.  Each new zoom would be named 4-2, 4-3, etc., and then minimized.

Once I am done zooming into #4, I’d turn the dup box off by just clicking it (you will see it pop back out), and closing #4.

Name sure you named each zoom.  They will line up in your folder in order this way.

I have zoomed in 8 different times.  Compare each to #4, and you should be able to figure out where I zoomed in.

8 pics from 4. Zooms. Posts thru December.

Here are all 8 pictures:

Go on and name them and save them.  Put them in your folder.

Today we will work with Picture 1-171129-4-1.  Leave the others for another lesson, and we’ll create some pretty fantastic fractals!

See the schedule below for each!

4-8: Blog post date: 12-28-17 Thursday

Here is 1-171129-4-1, now referred to in this lesson as 4-1.  Each fractal off this will be 4-1a, 4-1b, 4-1c, etc.

I’ve closed out 1-171129-4 and maximized 4-1.  I really like this one, and could use it my art very easily.  But, I want to zoom in at least once to see what those red leaves look like.  Might make a great Christmas card.  Zooming in now.

Picture 4-1a  / Oh.  I do like it.  Especially for scrap booking.  In that circle, I could feather in a face of a loved one, or a Christmas item or small scene.  Maybe Santa’s face.  See below:

Looking at 4-1a, I can see swirls off to the right size for sure.  If you like you can go check one out.  (If you saved 4-1a, you can always open it up again if you don’t like the result.  Or click on the dup box.  Just remember that it will be named Jungle, and you will need to rename it:  in this case, 4-1a-1.)

I am going to check out the spiral on the right, the biggest one, but I want to make sure I leave red.  Red is my favorite color.  I will draw my box slightly off the image and what will appear is what’s to the right that is not seen here.

Zooming one more time in top lacy loop point center right.

Picture 4-1c

These are all nice, but let’s try another color change.  Using Menu Color1; 1, I get something disbursing.  No!  It isn’t ruined.

Error 1.  (Probably because it’s too big.)

Error 1 above.

To get your fractal, right click on image and choose XY size, and ok.  The fractal will render (re-draw) now.  Easy!

Picture 4-1g // I like it, but it’s a little busy.

Let’s right click on the image, and choose fractal parameters.  I am going to change Bailout from 4 to 1, and M-set max from 128 to 50.

Not much change.

Next time, we’ll work on 1-171129-4-2.  See you then.
